KNOWLEDGE refers to our excellence in academic standards.  A founding member of the Association of Australian Hotel Schools, Kenvale College was Australia’s first private hospitality college.  Established in 1971, Kenvale specialises in hotel and event management. 

Our most popular course gives students two Advanced Diplomas (Hospitality Management and Tourism Management) in two years.  Upon completion of that program, students can gain a degree in just 1 – 1½ years with a university in Australia or overseas. 

EXPERIENCE.  The structure of our program is quite distinctive.  Students attend College three days a week, and gain industry experience with one of our industry partners for 20 hours a week.  Those 1600 hours of industry experience in 4 and 5 star establishments pay for the majority of the students’ College fees.

What truly differentiates Kenvale is the third element of our motto: HUMANITY.  Kenvale was founded with the vision of creating a more humane society through hospitality.  We aim to achieve this through passing on the values of a genuine service that upholds the dignity of each person.  These values are integrated into our curriculum, through subjects such as Ethics and Personal and Professional Development.  They are reinforced individually through our unique mentoring program, which helps our students grow into responsible professionals with a great deal of integrity.
